The Planter's Row's web site is set up to function as a source of information and communication for its homeowners. This index can be used by amatuer computer users as well as the advanced.
You will notice that on the top of every page in the site has a navigation bar to help you use the site as it was intended.
The navigation bar divides the web site into four major parts: The Architectural Controls Committee, The Activities Committee (A.K.A.: Facilities Committee), The Communications Committee, and the Advisory Board. You can go to any of these four sections of the site by simply clicking on the appropriate section of the navigation bar. Throughout the site are several downloadable files which are available for your use. Files that can be downloaded are typically underlined. Just click on the file to start the download. Once you have done this you will see this window pop up:
To view the file, select 'Open from current location' and click 'OK'. To return to the website, click the 'back' button on the Internet Explorer tool bar. If you 'X' or (close) out of the document it closes the website. Remember to use the 'back' button to avoid closing the website! Using the 'back' button is required only after opening a document. To begin downloading the file, select 'Save this file to disk' and click 'OK'. The next window to appear will be titled 'Save As'. Find the directory where you would like to save the file and click 'Save'. Most downloads will take a short period of time depending on your computer, and another window will appear: ![]() To immediately open the file, click 'Open' or click 'Close' to open the file later which can be found under the directory you saved it as.
